Our Mission
Washing Feet is committed to spreading the gospel, multiplying and training disciples, meeting the physical and spiritual needs of the less fortunate and encouraging brothers and sisters in Christ to do the same. We want to promote living a selfless life that reflects the glory of Christ by loving all and serving the needs of others in our local communities.
Our Programs
Washing Feet trains others on how to start a Drive Through Prayer outreach in their community using street signs with simple messages inviting people to stop for prayer. Today there are several cities across the United States offering prayer to those in need to great effect. We also work with local churches and groups to train and equip others to go out and share the gospel in a loving and effective way. Join us on one of our Washing Feet Wagon Trains where we fill wagons with food, clothing, basic needs, and bibles to distribute to the homeless. You can also join us on a Washing Feet Cross Walk where we carry a large cross through the city streets reminding people about the power of the cross and what it represents and share the gospel as we go. We want to love others the way Jesus did and encourage others to do the same.
Our History
In 2021 Wayne Smith started a drive through prayer ministry in and around Plano Tx. He would place ground signs and hold signs on the side of the road inviting people to stop for prayer or to ask him about Jesus. Soon after Jed Dixon and David Rossetti joined the team as we expanded into street ministry where we encountered many homeless people. We were moved to reach out and show them the love of Christ by giving food, clothing, and sharing the word of God with them. Today we continue to promote, encourage, and train others to share the gospel and to create disciples. We partner with other local organizations to help get the homeless off the streets and into a loving environment where they can flourish.
